This program will discuss the importance of self-awareness in your leadership journey and how developing that trait, along with your personal values and guiding principles, will improve your leadership skills and allow you to manage the career you desire. Upon completion of this presentation, participants will learn:

  • The four types of self-awareness and the importance of feedback
  • How to determine your personal values and guiding principles
  • The impact of personal values and guiding principles on shaping personal leadership style and achieving the balance you desire in the legal profession
  • How to develop and utilize a Personal User Manual with critical relationships at work

BIO

Helene Harding is a seasoned, high-impact, executive leadership and transition coach with over 37 years in the oil and gas industry. Helene has a unique combination of extensive leadership experience, business acumen and coaching skills to help individuals reach their full potential.  As a coach, Helene is your thought and accountability partner, challenging you to see through your blind spots and further capitalize on your strengths.

Helene leverages business experience and professional coaching credentials to accelerate leadership potential with senior and emerging leaders. 

Prior to becoming an Executive Coach, Helene led multiple billion-dollar business units responsible for developing and operating major legacy assets at ConocoPhillips.  She has experience in upstream operations, strategy and planning, conventional and unconventional reservoir development, international business development and technology innovation.  She initiated the Emerging Leaders Talent Management Team, sponsored the Women’s Network and mentored numerous leaders across their careers including up to the Senior Executive Leadership Team.

Profiles in Diversity Journal selected Helene as one of the “Women Worth Watching in 2013”. In 2015 she was named one of the "Women in Energy" by Houston Business Journal.

Helene continues to leave a legacy of being an inspirational, authentic leader with a focus on developing and empowering individuals and delivering strong business results.
