Cynthia Mabry '10
Nov. 3, 2020 - University of Houston Law alumna Cynthia Mabry was honored in Hart Energy's Oil & Gas Investor magazine as a Forty Under 40 in Energy honoree.
Mabry, a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, was one of just two attorneys recognized on the list. She specializes in corporate matters and capital markets in the energy industry.
"It is an honor to be included on Oil & Gas Investor’s Forty Under 40 list, and especially to be in the company of such an impressive group of industry leaders," Mabry said. "We are in a very interesting time in the market and a pivotal point in the energy industry. I look forward to helping companies navigate challenges and capitalize on opportunities in the years to come."
In September, Mabry was also recognized by Texas Lawyer in the "On the Rise" category of its annual Texas Legal Awards.
Mabry, a 2010 graduate of the Law Center, has previously served as president of the University of Houston Law alumni board, and is currently is a member of the steering committee of the Women of the Law alumni group.
