University of Houston Law Center alumni Maria-Vittoria "Giugi" Carminati '08 discusses the rapidly evolving field of space law in the wake of the space industry commercialization in an American Bar Association Journal article. The feature appears in the publication's February 2013 Issue.
Carminati is an associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges. She is the co-author of The Laws of Spaceflight: A Guidebook for New Space Lawyers. In addition, she is a member of both the Aerospace and Defense Industries Committee of the ABA Section of International Law as well as the International Arbitration Committee of the ABA Section of International Law.
