Tiffany J. Tucker, Interim Assistant Dean for Career Development
Tiffany joined the Career Development Office after practicing transactional intellectual property and general corporate law at a large New York law firm and is a member of the New York Bar. Tiffany earned a B.A. in both Psychology and Sociology from Grambling State University, an M.Ed. in Counselor Education from Florida A&M University, and a J.D. from Howard University School of Law. A native Texan, Tiffany is a former mental health counselor and professional development specialist.

Kourtney James Perry, Associate Director
Kourtney is a graduate of Harvard University with a B.A. in History of Science.  She earned her J.D. from Stanford University Law School.  Prior to joining the Career Development Office, Kourtney practiced corporate transactional  law at a large Houston firm.  While in law school, Kourtney coordinated the school’s annual Black Law Students Association conference.

Anne Elise Doise

Anne Elise Doise, Senior Career Specialist
Anne Elise joined the Career Development Office after practicing commercial litigation in a large Louisiana based firm. Anne Elise earned a B.S. in Finance from Baylor University, a Masters in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University, and a J.D. from Paul M. Hebert Law Center, at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  While in law school, Anne Elise was an active member of the Student Bar Association and Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.

Bill Powers, Senior Career Specialist

Bill Powers, Senior Career Specialist
A native Houstonian, Bill Powers is a graduate of Houston Baptist University and University of Houston Law Center.  Bill joined the Career Development Office after an alternative legal career as a managing editor for a respected legal publishing company.

Margaret De Young, Senior Career Specialist
Margaret was an energy and global transactions attorney at a large Houston law firm, then in-house counsel for a Sugar Land crude, NGLs, and refined products pipeline, terminaling, and marketing company. Her practice focused on corporate and securities matters, including M&A, securities offerings, and corporate finance transactions. She earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and her B.S. in Biological Sciences and Theatre from Vanderbilt University.

Catherine Wright, Program Manager
Catherine Wright received her degree in Sociology at Arizona State University. While there she worked in Campus Recreation as a Facility Coordinator. She served as a Disability Counselor at The University of Mississippi and then joined the Student Services staff at the University of Houston Law Center in 2001 working as coordinator for student organizations. She joined the Career Development Office in 2005 and coordinates our student programs and on-campus interviewing programs.

Kecia Branch, Program Coordinator
As program coordinator, Kecia Branch provides support to the Career Development Office by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing, and coordinating recruiting, networking, job fairs, and workshop programs for students and alumni. Before joining the Law Center staff, Kecia worked several years as a Legal Assistant and building manager at the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic & Center for Social Justice at Loyola New Orleans College of Law assisting Clinical Professors and clinic students. Kecia previously worked as a legal assistant to the senior attorney at a New Orleans area law firm. Kecia Branch is a graduate of Tulane University.
