The 2017 NACLE Workshop in Washington D.C. was a great success! Thank you to George Washington University Law School, NACLE faculty, panel members, and attendees for making NACLE 2017 a smooth workshop. NACLE legal scholars, practitioners, and students gathered at the George Washington University Law School in our nation’s capital to hear experts on NAFTA and related environmental provisions discuss the future of the monumental North American Free Trade Agreement and its side agreement on environment, the NAAEC. Questions were taken from students in the audience, and the panels were recorded to be produced for viewing on our website and social media (Coming soon). NACLE strives to add to the ongoing conversation on NAFTA by providing a legal academic perspective from experts on international trade from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. NACLE hopes to continue these efforts in the form of a white paper, policy proposals, or further research to contribute to the discussion on the NAFTA going forward.
