Patrick Glenn, the Peter M. Laing Professor of Law at McGill University and a renowned comparative law scholar, passed away on October 1, 2014. Glenn was a founding member of NACLE and hosted one of the first NACLE Workshops at McGill in 1998.
“Patrick was a remarkable man whose warmth and range of knowledge distinguished his scholarship as much as his intelligence,” said Professor Stephen Zamora, NACLE Director. “As a founding member of NACLE, Patrick hosted NACLE’s first faculty workshop at McGill in 1997, and was a gentle, astute and humorous host. We will miss his good counsel, support and friendship.”
