LL.M. Program Requirements

• Successfully complete a minimum of 24 credit hours of approved coursework.
• Within 24 credits, meet the required grade point average and successfully complete the required number of concentration-specific credits.
• Complete all program requirements within three years of admission and be continuously enrolled every fall and spring semester for a minimum of three credits.
• Courses previously completed in a student's J.D. (or first law degree) program cannot   be credited toward meeting the LL.M. requirement.
• Meet the writing requirement (if applicable).
• All students who earned their law degree outside of the United States (Foreign Scholars, Foreign Scholars with Certificate or Concentration) must take Introduction to American Law and Lawyering Skills and Strategies.  Both courses are counted toward meeting the 24-credit program requirement. *
