Jan. 11, 2023 — The University of Houston Law Center was listed in the “Top 9 best value law schools 2022” by Bankrate, which evaluated law schools across the country in four key areas.
Best value rankings focused on bar passage rates, financial aid, indebtedness upon graduation and the earnings of alumni. As the only best value law school in the state of Texas, UH Law Center provides specialized, ever-expanding legal education.
Selected as the “Best Value for Environmental Law,” UH Law Center was noted for its prominent and experienced faculty, comprehensive environmental law curriculum, and unique legal perspective gained from a location in Houston, the Energy Capital of the World, and upcoming Sustainable Energy Capital of the World.
“We are honored to receive this recognition,” states EENR co-director, Professor Gina S. Warren.
The UH Law Center’s Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Center provides a forum for education and discussion on complex legal and policy issues surrounding climate change, air pollution, clean coal and renewable energy.
“At UHLC, we are proud to offer students dozens of environmentally-related courses ranging from survey courses to specialty areas, encourage them to engage in meaningful research on current pressing topics, and help them network with the expansive Houston environmental bar,” notes Warren.
