Jon S. Schultz

Jon Schultz joined the University of Houston Law Center faculty in 1975, having served on the law faculties of the University of South Carolina and Indiana University and the business faculty of Oregon State University. He has been the Distinguished Visiting Librarian at Yale Law School in 1998 and a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School in 1989 and 1998. His B.A. degree is from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, his J.D. from Denver and his M.L.L. from the University of Washington. Having chaired the committee to develop the American Bar Association's standards for law school libraries, Dean Schultz has inspected more that 30 law schools for the ABA's accrediation process. He has written several books on legal research and he has published four multi-volume legislative histories.
