Professor Jeannie Suk Gersen will discuss the topic of “academic freedom and discrimination” in teaching and writing in a university. She expects to cover the relation between academic freedom and university rules, norms, and practices on discrimination, harassment, and bullying. In addition, she plans to discuss the relation between the promotion of free speech and the promotion of diversity and inclusion.
