
June 23, 2025 - The University of Houston Law Center has been recognized by a national panel of industry experts for its digital marketing and social media efforts. As part of results from the 12th Annual Education Digital Marketing Awards, UHLC received a total of 14 awards, including five gold recognitions, eight silver and one for merit. It is the most number of awards UHLC has earned in one competition.
“The marketing and communications team at the UH Law Center consistently delivers excellent, high-impact work that highlights the achievements of our faculty, staff, students, and alumni at the UH Law Center,” said Dean Leonard M. Baynes. “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished in this area, thanks to the guidance of Assistant Dean Carrie A. Criado.”

The Law Center’s communications and marketing department includes Assistant Dean of Communications and Marketing Carrie Anna Criado, Marketing Director Mel Miranda, Director of Communications Rashda Khan, Program Director Jaymie Turner, Senior Graphic Designer Dayna Hudson, Web Project Manager Ruth McCleskey, and Web Developer Baroness Adams.
According to Education Digital Marketing Awards, it evaluates, “creativity, marketing execution, message impact, technology application, and innovative content.”
