April 14, 2023 — The University of Houston Law Center’s Communications and Marketing Department received six certificates, including four gold in the most recent Collegiate Advertising Awards.
According to the publication, the annual program honors the “most talented marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in all forms of advertising, marketing and promotion specific to higher education products and services.”
Dean Leonard M. Baynes said that “the UH Law Center marketing team is excellent! We are very fortunate as a law school to have such a robust team. I am delighted that I am able to work with this excellent team in helping to brand the Law Center. It allows me to use the creative side of my brain.”
Winning award categories for 2022 were:
“We had important milestones happening for the Law Center recently with our 75th anniversary and the grand opening of the John. M. O’Quinn Law Building,” said Assistant Dean of Communications and Marketing Carrie Criado. “We are happy to have been able to showcase the Law Center’s achievements and faculty expertise.”
The UHLC communications and marketing team consists of Criado, Marketing Director Mel Miranda, Communications Manager Bonnie Buffaloe, Program Director Jaymie Turner, Senior Graphic Designer Dayna Hudson, Web Project Manager Ruth McCleskey, and Web Developer Baroness Adams.
