UH Law Center Celebrates Order of Coif Inductees for 2025

Dec. 1, 2025 ‒ The University of Houston Law Center recently inducted 19 new alumni members into the Order of the Coif, a prestigious national honor society that recognizes exceptional academic achievement in legal education. Membership is extended to students graduating in the top 10% of their class with their juris doctorates.

Since its founding in 1983, the UH Law Center’s chapter has welcomed more than 1,100 inductees, continuing a legacy honoring scholarship, integrity, and service to the legal field.

The UHLC chapter promotes excellence, leadership, and a deep commitment to advancing the legal profession. Darren Bush, UHLC’s Leonard B. Rosenberg Professor of Law, serves as president and Meredith J. Duncan, Alumnae College Professor of Law and Assistant Dean for Opportunities, Pedagogy, and Community Engagement, serves as secretary.
