John Schwietz
John M. Schwietz is an adjunct professor of legal writing. In his practice at Porter Hedges LLP, he represents oil and gas clients and others in commercial litigation and regulatory compliance and response matters. He is an alumnus of the University of Minnesota Law School, where he graduated cum laude. His teaching is informed by a decade of public service and leadership experience in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps as well as prior adjunct teaching at American University’s Washington College of Law.
