Course Outline: This course will cover presidential and congressional national security powers under the Constitution and case law with a focus on surveillance and other counterterrorism measures including the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and the USA Patriot Act. The course will focus on applying those principles to national security prosecutions and investigations. The grade will be based on paper written by students on a subject covered by the course.
