Course Outline: This course deals with the legal and business aspects of real estate development and finance, including origination of home mortgages, sale of home mortgage notes in the secondary market, issues relating to the recent mortgage market meltdown, foreclosure and deficiency judgments, and mortgage insurance, and the financing and development of commercial projects, such as rental apartments, shopping centers, office buildings and condominiums.
