
Mexican-American Bar Association of Houston (MABAH)
MABAH was founded in 1972 to serve the Hispanic attorney and most importantly the Hispanic community. It is one of the largest Hispanic legal organizations in the State of Texas, comprised of a diversity of talent, expertise and leadership. MABAH is proud of the diverse background of its members, including Puerto Rican, Argentinean, Mexican, Cuban, Guatemalan, Mexican-American and non-Hispanic. It is truly representative of the Hispanic Community of Metropolitan Houston. Due to longstanding tradition, its members have chosen to keep the name as the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston. Membership is open to licensed attorneys, members of the judiciary, graduates of an accredited law school, or students enrolled in an accredited law school.

MABAH will be award a total of nine (9) scholarships to deserving 1L, 2L and 3L law students already attending a law school in Houston.

Hispanic Bar Association of Houston (HisBA)
The Hispanic Bar Association (HisBA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 1987, whose goal is the advancement of Hispanics in the legal profession.
To this end, HisBA organizes several activities throughout the year, including President’s Day. HisBA also raises funds for a number of scholarships which it awards to students attending Houston area high schools and law schools.

HisBA Mentorship Program
The HisBA Mentorship Program seeks to foster relationships and build a network between experienced legal professional and junior attorneys or law students. This Program offers quarterly sessions on relevant topics for program participants.
