2021 HLPI Scholarship in Health Law
            Awarded to a student who has demonstrated academic excellence in the areas of health law and policy.

        Murray M. Nusynowitz Memorial Fund
            This scholarship is in memory of Murray M. Nusynowitz, the UH Law Center’s first assistant dean
            of admissions. He was a passionate recruiter, a great judge of character, an ethical administrator,
            and a friend to all. This award is presented to a law student who is active in the recruitment and
            admissions process.

        Catherine Wright Memorial Scholarship
            To honor the memory of Catherine Wright, Program Manager of the Law Center’s Career
            Development Office (CDO) for more than a decade, this award is given to a student who has
            exhibited compassion for others, demonstrated positive engagement within the law community,
            and is active with the CDO and its programs and services.

        Houston Bar Association, Real Estate Law Section Award
            The purpose of the HBA Real Estate Law Section is to promote the objectives and standards of
            professionalism of the HBA within the field of real estate law.  This scholarship is awarded to a
            student with a strong interest in real estate evidenced by coursework and/or work experience and
            a strong academic performance.
