The University of Houston Law Center will host the 2012 Works-in-Progress Intellectual Property Colloquium on Friday and Saturday, February 10-11, 2012. The Law Center’s Institute for Intellectual Property & Information Law (IPIL) is organizing the event, including its core faculty of Ray Nimmer, Craig Joyce, Paul Janicke, Sapna Kumar and Greg Vetter.
WIPIP offers an opportunity for intellectual property law scholars to present their works-in-progress and get early feedback from their colleagues. Faculty members are welcome to present, but presentation is not required. Non-faculty may also get a chance to present if there are sufficient slots available.
To register for the Colloquium, please contact IPIL’s Program Manager, Sindee Bielamowicz, by December 17, 2011, at ipil@uh.edu. If you would like to present a paper at the conference, please include a title and an abstract of your paper with your registration.
The Colloquium will be held on the afternoon of Friday, February 10 and all day on Saturday, February 11. The Colloquium is free of charge. Participants are responsible for their expenses.
