Current UH main campus students or recent graduates who are committed to attending the University of Houston Law Center 

Scored at or above the 85th percentile on the ACT or SAT. The ACT or SAT score must be from the exam used for college admission; and

Achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.6 or above, as calculated by LSAC, through at least six semesters of academic work. Cumulative GPA is defined as all courses taken in furtherance of a 4-year bachelor ’s degree.

1. Fill out the online application. 
1. Once you have submitted the application, you will receive an email (to the email address that you listed in your application) containing a personalized link to upload your supplemental materials. 
2. Personal statement  
1. Submit a PDF version of a 1–2-page personal statement 
2. 12-point font and double-spaced addressing the following prompts. 
3. Resume 
4. Transcript 
1. Submit your most recent undergraduate unofficial transcript (in PDF Form) 
5. Test Scores 
1. Submit a copy of your SAT or ACT score report. 
6. Writing Sample 
1. A 2–4-page paper that you have received a grade of a "B" or better. 
7. Two Letters of Recommendation 
1. Submit a request through the online links below for your letters of recommendation.  
2. One letter must be from a college faculty member and the other one can be from another source, such as a current or former employer, mentor, or coach.
