The Uniform Bar Exam (Information)
Day One (50%) (6 hours) - Multistate Performance Test ("MPT") and Multistate Essay Examination (MEE)
- MPT 1 and 2 (20%) (3 Hour Session) (Two Questions) – Two long-answer questions. Examinee is given a file of source documents and a library of research materials to review before answering the question. Suggested use of time: 45 minutes to research and read; 45 minutes to write a response (per question).

The Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE)
- The MPRE consists of 60 multiple-choice questions.
- Examinees have 2 hours to answer all questions (no scheduled breaks during test).
- Points are not subtracted for incorrect answers, so Examinees should answer all questions.
