"The function of the prosecutor under the federal Constitution is not to tack as many skins of victims as possible against the wall. His function is to vindicate the rights of the people as expressed in the laws and give those accused of crime a fair trial."

William Orville Douglas

Association of Future Prosecutors is a student organization for those students who are interested in Litigation.  Though primarily geared towards future prosecutors, we cover subjects that are of importance to students who are interested in other areas of litigation, as our topics of discussion often overlap with issues of importance in other fields.

Prosecutors have the important role of upholding justice in the criminal courts.  Our organization plans to prepare students to take on this role by hosting informational sessions about job opportunities, holding networking events with current prosecutors, and by exploring issues involved with actually being a prosecutor.
