Course Outline: The objectives of this course are to teach the substantive law of digital transactions and electronic commerce (with related intellectual property concepts) in a comprehensive manner, to consider ethical and professional questions related to the subject matter, and to integrate the subject matter with the analytical and practical skills necessary to the practice of law. Normally, the class simulates the creation of a technology company (typically an Internet-centric corporation) and reviews the legal issues related to an online venture.
