July 28, 2022 — Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a higher education analytics provider, listed the University of Houston Law Center in its 2022 World University Rankings for Law & Legal Studies.
Schools are selected based on academic reputation, employer status and research impact. UH Law Center was one of only two schools in Texas to make the world ranking.
The annual World Law School Rankings consisted of 342 law schools from more than 50 countries, including the United States, with 54 schools leading the representation.
Only about 30% of the institutions considered make the annual subject list for law and legal studies.
