July 22, 2020 - University of Houston Law Center Professor Renee Knake Jefferson discussed aspects of the women's suffrage that have gone overlooked throughout history in a video published by the American Law Institute commemorating the 100-year anniversary of the 19th Amendment.
"It's definitely an incredible time to be celebrating this right for women," Knake Jefferson said in the video. "But I hope as we celebrate we also remember the history of how that right was secured."
Knake Jefferson is joined in the video by Ninth Circuit Judge Margaret McKeown.
