Princeton Review ranks UH Law Center Among Top 50 in latest surveyStudents

Feb. 3, 2022 – The Princeton Review has released its annual list of the Best Law Schools giving the University of Houston Law Center high marks for best college experience, best career expectation and best academic achievement.

UHLC placed 39th in the nation for overall academic experience, chosen from an assessment of targeted admissions selectivity, academic experience, teaching and accessibility of professors. The Law Center also ranked 45th in academic achievement and 26th in career expectation considering factors such emphasis on legal theory as well as students’ confidence in employment after graduation and jobs garnered.

Schools were judged in 14 diverse categories such as best career prospects, best for clerkships and greatest resources for women. Of the lists compiled, five were based strictly on student data, three on administrator survey responses and six from combined answers to best inform students of the strengths of top schools while highlighting unique facets that would complete the college experience.

More than 15,000 students and administrators from 168 law schools took part in completing a survey that served as the basis for the rankings.
