April 14, 2021 - Students from the University of Houston Law Center and Mexico's Universidad Anáhuac will face off in a livestreamed championship round of the Bilingual Dispute Resolution Competition on Friday.

The competition was developed by Karen L. Jones, executive director of Global and Graduate Programs, Jim Lawrence, executive director of the Blakely Advocacy Institute and director of the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center, and Alfonso Lopez de la Osa Escribano, director of the Center for U.S. and Mexican Law. The competition was established in part to train bilingual English-Spanish future attorneys in a global environment where cross-border legal services are increasing.
Universidad La Salle was also a participant in the competition. Littler has provided sponsorship for the event.
