March 27, 2020 - Following an extended spring break, University of Houston Law Center students resumed classes this week. Classes will be administered digitally, typically through Zoom video conference, through the rest of the Spring 2020 semester as a safeguard against the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

"The Covid-19 pandemic raises many issues. For me as Dean, it is important to balance health and safety with the integrity of our educational mission with continuity of operations," said Dean Leonard M. Baynes. "Under the circumstances of trying to limit the proflagation of the virus, remote, contemporaneous and electronic teaching is the best solution balancing these factors.

“I am glad to report that went well with just minor glitches. Many thanks to Tommy Abraham and Professor Amanda Watson and their teams for their hard work in helping to train faculty to use the online technology. "

The alternative delivery of courses makes it imperative for all students to have operable IT capability. Please review the UH website on how to improve your off-campus internet connectivity. https://uh.edu/infotech/about/planning/off-campus/improve-internet-connection/.
