April 10, 2014 – University of Houston Law Center student Eglantine Pauvarel Moss 2L is the winner of the Houston Bar Auxiliary Charitable Fund scholarship, in part, for her work in the school’s immigration clinic.
The Charitable Fund awards $5,000.00 scholarships annually to deserving second-year students at Houston area law schools. The selection is based on scholastic achievement, need and community involvement. Moss’ application focused in part on her successful litigation in immigration court under the supervision of Clinical Professor Janet Beck on behalf of a client seeking asylum.
