UH Law Center earns six gold awards in Education Digital Marketing national competition

Nov. 04, 2022 — The University of Houston Law Center Communications and Marketing team received high rankings in the 10th Annual Education Digital Marketing Awards, which recognize the best websites, digital content, electronic communications, mobile and social media from higher education intuitions across the country.

The Law Center was awarded gold for the following six categories:

“I am delighted that UH Law Center’s Communications and Marketing department has been recognized for our efforts to serve the law school and its centers, institutes, and programs,” said Carrie Criado, Assistant Dean of Communications and Marketing. “This year is especially meaningful because the team has put together wonderful marketing material including a 75th Anniversary of the Law Center commemorative microsite and advertising for our new ultramodern John M. O’Quinn Law Building. We have a lot of great things happening at UHLC and look forward to continuing to promote our world-class law school.”

The UH Law Center communications and marketing team consists of Carrie Criado, assistant dean of communications and marketing; Rhamel “Mel” Miranda, marketing director; Jaymie Turner, program director; Ruth McCleskey, web project manager; Bonnie Buffaloe, communications manager; and Baroness Adams, web developer.

A national panel of industry specialists judged more than a thousand entries for the competition. Winners were selected based on creativity, execution, message impact, technology application and innovative content.
