Dec. 17, 2020 - The University of Houston Law Center published its 2020 Year in Review edition of Briefcase magazine today.
"As 2020 draws to a close, it is important to recognize it will be remembered in the history books as being one of the most challenging years in our nation's history," said Dean Leonard M. Baynes in the magazine's introduction. "Amidst all the difficulties it is critical to highlight some of the bright spots."
The themes of the publication were the COVID-19 pandemic, racial and social justice and progress on The John M. O'Quinn Building, which is currently under construction. The magazine features accomplishments in the past year and how the Law Center adjusted to the coronavirus and civil unrest following multiple instances of racial violence across the country and other news.
