"My motivation for building the calculator was that I kept doing these computations in my head and I felt like many other people were either doing likewise or forgetting how to do the algebra,” Chandler said. “The matter needed to be automated. Thanks to a lot of experience, I managed to get together a decent "Resource Function" in about 45 minutes, and then used it as the foundation for a basic website in another 15 minutes."
Chandler, the Law Foundation Professor of Law and a faculty member in the Health Law & Policy Institute, is the author of more than 100 interactive demonstrations, 21 Resource Functions and several data repositories on the Wolfram Research website. He teaches Contracts, Health Law, Insurance Law, Life and Health Insurance and Law and Economics.
