Judges and lawyers will gather at UH to discuss latest developments in family law

Sept. 23, 2019 — The University of Houston Law Center and Family Lawyers of Texas are co-sponsoring a two-day conference Thursday and Friday exploring a wide-range of issues involving the practice of family law.

The program, “Highlights: Family Law Year in Review 2019,” will feature panel discussions on “policies, procedures and professionalism” with members of the family law judiciary and presentations from practitioners. Topics range from child custody and estate planning to fees and new legislation.

Attorneys will earn 12.75 hours of CLE credit, including 1.5 ethics.

The conference is 9:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 26, and 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at the University of Houston: Student Center South.
