AA White Dispute Resolution Center brings all-star lineup to UHLC for family arbitration CLE seminar Dec. 6
Nov. 6, 2013 -- The A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center at the University of Houston Law Center is sponsoring a seminar Dec. 6 on various aspects of family arbitration with a line-up of family law experts and experienced practitioners.
The presentation will feature Jeff Kilgore, a veteran mediator with offices in Galveston. Subjects will include: statutory provisions dealing with family arbitration; preparation of the agreement to arbitrate a family case; procedures for organizing a family arbitration, including pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, and fee deposits; presentation of the case; and writing of the award.
Attendees will earn four hours of participatory CLE credit, including one hour of ethics. Cost of the program is $70.
