BOARD OF DISCIPLINARY APPEALS ACTIONS

 On Nov. 28, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal by Houston attorney Eleanor Cannon-Barnes, 50, of an agreed judgment of partially-probated suspension.

On Nov. 28, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of Mineral Wells attorney Brenda Vickers, 43, of a default judgment of public reprimand.

On Jan. 24, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals granted the parties’ joint motion to reverse and remand for new trial the appeal by Houston attorney Stephen C. Parten, 55, of a default judgment of disbarment.

On Dec. 12, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal by Warren, Ark. attorney David M. Jordan, 61, of an order of suspension.

On Jan. 2, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed a judgment of indefinite disability suspension against Rosharon attorney Maryam Jamilah Zaidi, 53.

On Jan. 2, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed a judgment of indefinite disability suspension against Kingwood attorney Edward Truncellito, 50.

On July 20, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals disbarred Fort Worth attorney William D. Herron, 53.

SUSPENSIONS

Hugh M. Hodges, 56, of Dallas agreed to a three-year, partially-probated suspension effective Nov. 18, 2000.

Maryam Jamilah Zaidi, 53, of Rosharon received by default judgment a six-year, partially-probated suspension effective Oct. 5, 2000.

Laura Alpert, 39, of Plano accepted a six-month suspension effective Sept. 1, 2000.

Alan William Radke, 50, of San Antonio accepted a six-month, fully-probated suspension effective Oct. 1, 2000.

PUBLIC REPRIMANDS

Ruben Nunez, 33, of El Paso accepted a public reprimand on May 4, 2000.

L. Aaron Pena, Jr., 41, of Edinburg accepted a public reprimand on July 27, 2000.

Karen D. Whitt, 46, of Dallas received a public reprimand on July 10, 2000.

Frank A. Denena, II, 42, of Dallas accepted a public reprimand on September 5, 2000.

Alfonzo R. Greenidge, 55, of Dallas accepted a public reprimand on September 15, 2000.

Richard L. Wardroup, 46, of Lubbock received a public reprimand on August 10., 2000.

Robert L. Petersen, Jr., 55, of Washington, D.C. accepted a public reprimand.
