T. Lindemann, David D. Kadue. Workplace harassment law. 2nd ed. BNA
Books, c2012. KF3467.L56
2012 This book examines the nuts and bolts of workplace harassment law, from requirements for bringing a suit to establishment of harassment, actionable forms of harassment, and determination of employer liability. It also discusses many different types of suits, including for harassment based on gender, race or color, national origin, religion, age, disability, association, and proximity. Finally it also provides a history of workplace harassment, analyzing legislation that has come to define workplace harassment law, including opinions of the federal appellate courts interpreting anti-discrimination laws. |

Studies in the philosophy of law : game theory and the law / edited by Jerzy
Stelmach, Wojciech Załuski. Copernicus Center Press, 2011. K212.S78
2011 Game theory is a mathematical theory of strategic interaction between rational agents. It has been widely, and with much success, applied in various areas of social sciences, especially economics and sociology. However, it has been relatively rarely used in the analyses pursued within legal theory and legal dogmatics. The present volume is intended to fill in - at least to a certain extent - this gap: the general message of the most of the papers is that game theory can be a useful tool also for legal scholars. It contains, though, also two skeptical voices regarding the applicability of game theory in legal analysis. |
