Leah R. Fowler presented "The Appification of Genetic Risk" at the Symposium of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology titled "Medical and Legal Uncertainty in Emerging Health Technologies," at Harvard Law School on March 23.
Aman Gebru served on a panel, "Community Authors and Cultural Property," at the 2024 Los Angeles Copyright Symposium co-hosted by the University of California Los Angeles, and Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. Professor Gebru was also a panelist on "Trademarking Tradition: Cultural Appropriation as Passing-Off" as part of the Creative Commons Copyright Platform Guest Speaker Series. He also presented "Cultural Appropriation as Passing-Off" at the Arizona State University Intellectual Property and Traditional Culture Workshop, and at the Junior Intellectual Property Scholars Association Conference hosted by the University of Houston Law Center.

Renee Knake Jefferson presented her article "Ethics Accountability" at Cardozo Law School on March 15, which will be published by the Cardozo Law Review in 2025. She appeared on NPR's Morning Edition on March 28 to discuss the California State Bar decision recommending the disbarment of John Eastman.
Valerie Gutmann Koch was named an Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Ethics. She also presented "Previvorship and Medical Uncertainty" at the Symposium of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology titled "Medical and Legal Uncertainty in Emerging Health Technologies," at Harvard Law School on March 23.
Jessica Roberts hosted the Symposium of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology: "Medical and Legal Uncertainty in Emerging Health Technologies" at Harvard Law School on March 23. The symposium was part of her work as head of the legal arm on a grant studying polygenic risk scores. Professor Fowler is also a member of the grant’s legal working group and helped organize the event. Professors Fowler and Koch presented papers.
Sandra Guerra Thompson appeared on March 27 on KHOU in an interview regarding the pretrial intervention deal in Attorney General Ken Paxton’s securities fraud case. Professor Guerra Thompson also discussed this topic on Houston Public Media on March 26.

Kellen Zale presented a work-in-progress on institutional investor acquisition of single-family rentals at the Cheever Academic Workshop on March 8 as part of the Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute Annual Conference at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
