December 16, 2011 - As Occupy Wall Street protests continue across the country and around the world, tensions with local city officials are rising. This week, seven protestors were arrested on the felony charge of possessing a “criminal instrument” while blocking the road to the Port of Houston. A Houston district court judge dismissed the cases, saying the prosecutors had not shown probable cause for the felony arrest. However, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office said that it would seek an indictment by a grand jury.
