               The EENR Center maintains over 25 full time and adjunct faculty working on environmental and energy issues (see
      These faculty have diverse backgrounds, having worked in legal practice,
               government agencies, and private business, and have come to Houston from both domestic and international destinations.
               EENR faculty teach a diverse array of over fifty courses (see, from
               transactional aspects of energy law, to climate change and natural resources law, to a wide array of classes focused on
               various forms of environmental pollution, among others.

               The EENR faculty extends its educational mission beyond Houston Law Center students, as EENR also provides an “Energy
               Semester in Houston” program, which allows visiting students to enroll in a number of EENR-related courses and benefit
               from conferences, symposia and direct access to a robust environmental and energy professionals network in the Houston

               The faculty also periodically hosts professional training programs for both domestic lawyers and lawyers from other nations
               seeking to develop their home environmental and energy laws in specific ways. The range of topics includes the spectrum of
               modern day global challenges, and the training helps participating entities satisfy industrial and government requirements
               on both theoretical and practical policy challenges.

               Finally, the faculty periodically develops white papers (available on the EENR website) that tackle the most pressing
               environmental and energy issues of the day and that help shape debate and analysis of emerging challenges.
