The Zealous Advocacy Conference, now in its fifteenth year, is an annual training seminar organized by the Center for Children, Law & Policy and the Southwest Juvenile Defender Center. The conference is the premier professional development training for juvenile public defense attorneys practicing in the Southwestern United States.
Attendees will receive 12 hours of CLE credit with 4 ethics hours. The conference will also be approved for specialization credit in criminal appellate, criminal law, family law and juvenile law.
Registration is offered at a discounted rate of $25.00 in honor of the 15th anniversary of the conference. After July 8th registration will be $200.00. Parking is included with registration.
Registration is free for University of Houston Law Center students. J.D. and L.L.M. students attending other law schools, as well as students from non-law disciplines, may register at a discounted rate of $10.00.
