RESIGNATIONS

On Oct.21, the Supreme Court of Texas accepted the resignation, in lieu of discipline, of Stephen A. Hines, 55, of El Paso.

 

On Oct. 8, the Supreme Court of Texas accepted the resignation, in lieu of discipline, of Brett Lanier, 44, of Chappell Hill.

 

DISBARMENTS

On Sep. 10, the 45th District Court of Bexar County disbarred Edward N. Daneri, 32, of San Antonio.

 

On Aug. 15, the District 4-A Grievance Committee disbarred Roderick L. Garrett, 32 of Houston.

 

On Oct. 3, an evidentiary panel of the District 10-A Grievance Committee disbarred Miguel Rodriguez, 55 of San Antonio.

SUSPENSIONS

On Oct. 24, Adrian Antonio Chavez, 33, of Odessa accepted a one-year, partially probated suspension effective Oct. 24, with the first six months actively served and the remaining probated from the District 15-D Grievance Committee.

On Oct. 2, George Delaney, 64, of Houston accepted an eight-year, partially-probated suspension effective Sept. 1, with the first five years actively served and the remainder probated from the evidentiary panel of the District 4-F Grievance Committee.

 

On Oct. 3, Will G. Dickey, 55, of Houston agreed to a three-year, partially-probated suspension effective Oct. 7, with the first 90 days actively served and the remainder probated from the 215th District Court of Harris County.

 

On Sept. 14, Thomas E. Dixon, III, 46, of Tucker, Ga. agreed to a five-year, partially-probated suspension effective July 19, 1999, with the first three years actively served with a credit for time served, and the remainder probated from the 55th District Court of Harris County.

 

On Aug. 7, Travis M. Hartgraves, 54, of Abilene received a five-year, partially probated suspension effective Oct. 1, with the first year actively served and the remainder probated from the evidentiary panel of the District 14-D Grievance Committee.

 

On Oct. 25, Basil Landon Hoyl, 42, of Hurst accepted a one-year, fully probated suspension effective Oct. 25 from the District 14-B Grievance Committee.

 

On Sept. 9, Dennis C. Jones, 43, of Lufkin received a one-year, fully probated suspension effective Sept. 30 from an evidentiary panel of the District 2-B Grievance Committee.

 

On Sept. 19, David K. Line, 53, of Dallas received a 38-month, partially-probated suspension effective Jan. 1, 2003, with the first 12 months actively served and the remainder probated from the 44th District Court of Dallas County.

 

On Sept. 3, an evidentiary panel of the District 7-A Grievance Committee suspended Joseph Scott Spitzer, 55, of Azle for two months effective Oct. 1.

 

On Sept. 19, Bowen Wesley Sutton, 55, of San Antonio received a three-month, fully probated suspension effective Nov. 11 from the District 10-B Grievance Committee.

 

PUBLIC REPRIMANDS

On Oct. 7, John Charles Ball, 40, of Fort Worth accepted a public reprimand from the District 7-A Grievance Committee.

 

On Sept. 13, Abel Hinojosa, 38, of McAllen accepted a public reprimand from the District 12-B Grievance Committee.

 

On Aug. 15, Robert Edward Rangel, 53, of San Antonio accepted a public reprimand from the District 10-B Grievance Committee.
