ACTIONS
On Aug. 15, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals reinstated Robert
A. Forester, 46, of San Antonio.
On Aug. 8, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed a
judgment of indefinite disability suspension against John W. Wiggins, Sr.,
54, of Houston.
On Aug. 23, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for
want of prosecution the appeal by John Douglas Gilliland, 67, of Dallas,
of a default judgment of disbarment issued by an evidentiary panel of the
District 6-A Grievance Committee on Nov. 15, 21.
On Aug. 27, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals disbarred Daniel
Jay Goldberg, 51, of Houston.
On Aug. 27, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals revoked the
probation of Ronald B. Layer 1257, 53, of San Antonio, and suspended him
from the practice of law for two years beginning Aug. 27.
On Aug. 27, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals affirmed the
dismissal by the evidentiary panel of the District 15-A Grievance Committee of
the complaint against J. W. Johnson, 51, of Sonora.
On Aug. 28, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals reversed the
revised judgment of partially-probated suspension signed on July 29, 20, by the
evidentiary panel of the District 4-J Grievance Committee against Woodrow
Wilson Miller, 49, of Houston.
On Oct. 8, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals revoked the
probation of Victoria attorney Stephen A. Cihal, 48, and suspended him
from the practice of law for 90 days effective Nov. 7. On May 8, 21.
On Oct. 8, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals suspended Haim
Habib, 49, of Magnilua, Guam. On Oct. 6, 21, the Supreme Court of Guam
suspended Habib from the practice of law.
RESIGNATIONS
On Aug. 30, the Supreme Court of Texas accepted the
resignation, in lieu of discipline, of Kerry Brown Caughran, 55, of El
Paso.
On May 2, 21, the District 4-C Grievance Committee found David
H. Falk, 34, of Webster posed a substantial threat of irreparable harm to
clients or prospective clients and authorized the chief disciplinary counsel to
seek his immediate interim suspension.
On June 11, the Supreme Court of Texas accepted the
resignation, in lieu of discipline, of Miles H. Appleberry, 59, of San
Antonio.
On July 2, the Supreme Court of Texas accepted the
resignation, in lieu of discipline, of Frank Carrillo, 41, of San Antonio.
DISBARMENTS
On Aug. 1, Leila M. Bouhassis, 32, of Keller received
a default judgment of disbarment from the District 6-A Grievance Committee.
On July 24, an evidentiary panel of the District 10-A
Grievance Committee disbarred George Flores Sedeno, 47, of San Antonio.
On Aug. 12, C. Miller Wallace Jr., 46, of Midland
received a default judgment of disbarment from the District 16-B Evidentiary
Panel.
SUSPENSIONS
On July 18, Edward C. Burwell, 35, of Houston agreed
to a five-year, partially-probated suspension effective April 14, 22, with the
first three years actively served and the remainder probated from the 215th
District Court of Harris County.
On Aug. 19, Melvin E. Corley, 73, of Austin received
a four-year, partially-probated suspension effective Nov. 1, with the first
three years actively served and the remainder probated from the 353rd District
Court of Travis County.
On July 12, Samuel W. Hudson, 62, of Irving received
a six-month, fully-probated suspension effective Aug. 1 from the 191st District
Court of Dallas County.
On Aug. 19, Kerry Eugene Moseley, 56, of Fort Worth
agreed to a three-year, partially-probated suspension effective Nov. 1, with
the first 60 days actively served and the remainder probated from the 153rd
District Court of Tarrant County.
On July 26, Elaine Gay Price, 43, of Dallas accepted
a 15-month, partially-probated suspension effective Sept. 1, with the first
three months actively served and the remainder probated from the District 6-A
Grievance Committee.
On Aug. 15, Brent Hayden Pulley, 43, of Dallas
accepted an 18-month, fully-probated suspension effective Aug. 15 from the
District 6-A Grievance Committee.
On June 20, Steven Edward Rogers, 50, of McKinney
received a one-year, fully-probated suspension effective Aug. 1 from the
District 6-A Grievance Committee.
On July 9, George V. Garcia, II, 46, of Laredo agreed
to a six-month, partially-probated suspension effective July 1, 23 from the
49th District Court of Webb County.
On Feb. 22, 22, Richard S. Gladden, 42, of Denton
received a two-year, fully-probated suspension effective Jan. 30, 21 from the
District 14-B Grievance Committee.

accepted a public reprimand from the District 7-A Grievance Committee.
On July 15, Manuel A. Velasco, 74, of Pasadena
accepted a public reprimand from the District 4-B Grievance Committee.
On June 28, Dwane L. Todd, 45, of Houston received a
public reprimand from the 190th District Court of Harris County.
On July 17, Tony Diaz, 45, of Austin accepted a
public reprimand from the District 10-C Grievance Committee.
On July 31, Roger Harmon Broach, 67, of Houston
accepted a public reprimand from the District 4-E Grievance Committee.
On May 15, Stephen G. Kennedy, 44, of San Antonio
accepted a public reprimand from the District 10-A Grievance Committee.
