REINSTATEMENT
Gina Askew Smith, formerly Gina Lackey Marshall, 45, of Dallas has petitioned the
162nd District Court of Dallas County for reinstatement as a member of the
State Bar of Texas.
RESIGNATIONS
On Feb. 25, the Supreme
Court of Texas accepted the resignation, in lieu of discipline, of Maurice
Onyewuchi Ezuruike, 32, of Austin.
On Dec. 4, 21, the Supreme
Court of Texas accepted the resignation, in lieu of discipline, of George Q.
McGown, III, 70, of Fort Worth.
On May 9, the Supreme Court
of Texas accepted the resignation, in lieu of discipline, of Patrick Vaughan
Dunne, 64, of Houston.
On April 11, the Supreme Court of Texas accepted the
resignation, in lieu of discipline, of Isaiah H. Hardy, 56, of Austin.
On Feb. 25, the Supreme Court of Texas accepted the
resignation, in lieu of discipline, of Deirdre S. Sterling, 35, of
Lubbock.

On Nov. 1, Jim Hamilton,
69, of Houston was disbarred by the District 4-D Grievance Committee.
On Jan. 17, James P. Reeves, 51, of Dallas received a
default judgment of disbarment from the District 6-A Grievance Committee.
On Dec. 14, Mary Elizabeth Tirado, 43, of Terrell
received a default judgment of disbarment from the District 1-A Grievance
Committee.
On Dec. 26, Anthony Jerome Williams, 39, of Lubbock
received a default judgment of disbarment from the District 16-A Grievance
Committee.
On Jan. 24, Michael Williams, 37, of Houston was
disbarred by the District 4-E Grievance Committee.

Jones III, 45, of Amarillo received a default order of disbarment from the

On Feb. 28, David Gavin Ritchie, Jr., 66, of Houston
was disbarred by the District 4-E Grievance Committee.
On Jan. 11, the 298th District Court of Dallas County
disbarred Robert R. Wightman-Cervantes, 44, of Dallas.

On March 12, John R. Boyd, 47, of Dallas agreed to a
16-month, partially-probated suspension effective June 1, with the first 30
days actively served and the remainder probated from the District 6-A Grievance
Committee.
On Jan. 17, E. Bruce Bushong, 45, of Addison received
by default judgment a three-year, partially-probated suspension effective March
1, with the first year actively served and the remainder probated from the
District 6-A Grievance Committee.
On Jan. 15, Louis D. Leichter, 39, of Austin accepted
a two-year, fully-probated suspension effective Feb. 1 from the District 8-C
Grievance Committee.

a 54-month, partially-probated suspension effective Dec. 15, 21, with the first

On Dec. 6, Linda Irene Perez, 42, of San Antonio

On Feb. 21, George Flores Sedeno, 47, of San Antonio

On March 5, T.D. Sullivan, 63, of Bellaire agreed to
a four-year, partially-probated suspension effective March 1, with the first

Court of Harris County.
On Dec. 28, Claudia M. Thompson, 56, of Arlington
agreed to a 36-month, fully-probated suspension effective Dec. 30, 21 from the
District 7-A Grievance Committee.
On Jan. 14, Stephani A. Walsh, 47, of San Antonio
accepted a six-month, fully-probated suspension effective Jan. 1 from the
District 10-B Grievance Committee.
On Feb. 19, Martha C. Wright, 44, of Grand Prairie
accepted a 19-month, partially-probated suspension effective April 1, with the
first month actively served and the remainder probated from the District 6-A
Grievance Committee. On March 25,
Wright received a six-month, partially-probated suspension effective April 1,
with the first month actively served and the remainder probated from the

On Jan. 23, Paul R. Alexander, 56, of Dallas agreed
to a one-year, fully-probated suspension effective Jan. 1 from the The
Commission for Lawyer Discipline.

On Dec. 13, James Morris Lassiter, III, 37, of
Houston accepted a public reprimand from the District 10-B Grievance Committee.
On Jan. 3, Arthur H. Parras, 50, of South Houston
received a public reprimand from the District 4-G Grievance Committee.
On March 4, Linda B. Aland, 54, of Dallas received a
public reprimand from the 68th District Court of Dallas County.
On Feb. 20, David T. Duncan, 43, of Austin accepted a
public reprimand from the District 16-A Grievance Committee.
On Dec. 13, Linda Irene Perez, 42, of San Antonio
accepted a public reprimand from the District 10-B Grievance Committee. On March 7, Perez accepted another public
reprimand from the District 10-C Grievance Committee.
On Jan. 3, David Aaron Pina, 34, of Austin accepted a
public reprimand from the District 9-A Grievance Committee.
On Dec. 12, Teddy L. Potter, 59, of Belton accepted a
public reprimand from the District 8-C Grievance Committee.
On May 8, James Morris Lassiter, III, 37, of Houston
received a public reprimand from the District 4-A Grievance Committee found
Lassiter filed insurance claims for his clients. Upon receipt of the claim
funds, Lassiter failed to supervise his staff regarding the notification of his
clients that the funds were received. He violated Rules 1.14
