Course Outline: This course provides the forum for analysis of the fieldwork experiences a student encounters while working in a judge’s chambers through class discussion, reflective writing, and small group meetings.
Course Syllabus: Prerequisite Info Cont'd: Must also enroll in Judicial Internship I at same time. Student must submit online application form for Judicial Internship I to request instructor approval to receive academic credit. (Form is found at www.law.uh.edu/clinic.) Signing up and being approved for Judicial Internship I will also automatically enroll you in Judicial Process. During Judicial Process, students will read from text, perform exercises that complement the work they are doing at a court, and discuss issues impacting the judiciary.
Course Notes: Approval of Instructor Required. MANDATORY ORIENTATION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 19, 2009.
Course is designed to be taken CONCURRENTLY with Judicial Internship I. PLEASE do not ask Prof. Bonadero if you can do otherwise.
Prerequisites: YES 30 or more hours completed; GPA of at least 2.7; acceptance by a court to be an intern (for credit, unpaid)
