Course Outline: Admiralty
The course is basically divided into two parts, jurisdiction and procedure. Jurisdiction includes the establishment and formulation of Admiralty jurisdiction in the courts as well as various forms of relief available in Admiralty and the problems associated with federal-state accommodations in maritime cases. The substantive part of the course primarily addresses maritime liens, ship mortgages, and charter parties.
