Course Outline: A course that is designed to give the student an understanding of the arbitration decision making process as applied in a work and commercial environment. Both a case study and a hands-on approach is taken as a means of acquainting the student with the non-judicial resolution of issues that are common to all forms of arbitration. Transcripts, exhibits and other materials taken from actual arbitration cases are supplied in order to assist the student in the understanding, preparation, and presentation of arbitral and non arbitral issues.
