Course Outline: This course is an Introduction to Elder Law in Texas. It covers the following topics: Elder Abuse, exploitation and neglect, powers of attorney and advance directives, Social Security and retirement planning, disability benefits, Medicare and Medicaid, Long term care insurance, Estate recovery, housing options, Veterans’ benefits, and special needs trusts.
