Course Outline: This course examines Texas consumer law, with an emphasis on the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, warranty law, and state and federal debt collection laws. Much of the course involves the application and analysis of statutes. A combined lecture, problem, and Socratic teaching approach is used.
