Course Outline: This course is a study of the legal and ethical responsibilities of members of the legal profession. A required course, Professional Responsibility focuses on both the Model Rules of Professional Conduct as well as the current law governing the conduct of lawyers.

Course Notes:   During fall 2017, the course will be offered in an online format.
The Monday session will be a live lecture from 6-7:30PM using Zoom technology viewable from any location with Internet access (except for the first meeting, which is a mandatory in-person meeting at the Law Center students must attend the first meeting in order to enroll in the course or seek special permission in advance). The Wednesday session will be a recorded lecture with an activity due before class on the following Monday. Grades will be based upon participation in the live lectures, completion of the weekly activities, and a final take-home exam.
