Course Syllabus: Will be emailed to accepted students prior to the start of the semester.

Course Notes:   This is the clinical component of the program. First-time, non-llm health law externship students must also take the public interest workplace course (the classroom component) during the same semester they're working.

Well in advance of the semester during which they want to work, students secure their own field placements at health-law-related institution, such as a hospital. Once a position has been secured, students need to apply to the program at for approval. (Students working at law firms, even on a volunteer basis, cannot receive credit under aba accreditation regulations.)

Students should not attempt to enroll themselves in these courses via peoplesoft: the instructor will enroll you via the office of student services.

Prerequisites: Yes  ; completion of 30 hours, a minimum gpa of 2.7, and approval of the instructor. The instructor will review students’ online applications, then will contact you.
